Farm Point Santa Claus Breakfast – Dec 11th

Farm Point is hosting their annual Santa Claus Breakfast this Sunday at the Farm Point Community Centre. The breakfast starts at 8:30am and Santa Claus arrives at 10:30am. There will be crafts, music, stories and face painting. Bring a wrapped gift valued at a maximum of $10 per child for Santa to hand out. Gift drop off is until 10:20am. Photos with Santa will also be taken.

Help the “Low Down” Build a Toy Mountain

Want to make a difference this Christmas? Consider donating a new (unwrapped) or gently used toy and/or snowsuit that will be distributed to local children this holiday season.

Initiative: Build a Toy Mountain
Goal: To help give children who are not as fortunate the toys and warm clothing that they deserve
Drop Off Site: The Low Down Office – 815 Riverside Drive, Wakefield
Drop off Times: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

The last day to drop off stuff will be on December 16th at 5:00 pm.

Every person dropping off a new toy or clothing item will be eligible for a draw. The prize is a $100 gift certificate from Le Spa Blue.

1. Help Santa Toy Parade (Ottawa)

Time: 5:00 pm
Where: Starts at the National Archives on Wellington street. Head East on Wellington Street and then turn right on Bank Street. Continue South on Bank Street then turn left on Laurier Avenue. Continue East on Laurier Avenue to Elgin Street. This is the End Point for the Parade.

2. Le Défilé du Père Noël (Alymer)

Date: November 25, 2011.
Time: 7 pm
Where: Starts at the Aylmer Marina and travels up Principale Street (the main street in Aylmer).

Santa Claus Breakfast – December 3rd

An Annual Tradition – Breakfast with Santa

When: Saturday, December 3
Time: 9:00 – 11:00
Where: Chelsea Elementary School
Price: $4 per child, $8 per adult

Tickets can be reserved by phone and picked up the day of the event at Chelsea School. Call 819-827-6201 to reserve your tickets.

The Chelsea United Church Choir will lead a sing along at 9:00am. Stick around after for the arrival of Santa!
