Ray Zabab, who needs no introduction to most Chelseaites, is not only an extraordinary ultra-marathoner from Chelsea, but also the founder of “i2p” (impossible2possible), which is a non-profit organization geared towards empowering and bringing awareness to young people, classrooms and communities all over the world. Some of their recent initiatives include building a water well in Uganda and building a school in the Amazon.
An easy and fantastic way to show your support for such great initiatives, is by purchasing and wearing an “i2p” t -shirt. These t-shirts are being sold by Adriana Rossi and they are available for purchase through the Children’s Garden Preschool located at 537 Route 105 in Chelsea. If you are interested in ordering one, email: cyndi@childrensgardenpreschool.ca. All proceeds will go directly to the Taquara School Project in Taquara, Flona Do Tapajos, Brazil. Currently, this school is a hut with no walls. It gets flooded during the rain season and they need to build it on higher ground. Adriana has sent me a few pictures of what this school presently looks like. See below to view the photos.
The t-shirts cost $15 and come in Small, Medium, Large and Youth Large. These t-shirts are really nice. If you would like to order one, simply email: cyndi@childrensgardenpreschool.ca or call 819-484-1004. The t-shirts will be available for pick up at the Children’s Garden Preschool. Get your orders in today.
